"Dumb Witness"Poirot and Hastings arrive at Lake Windermere to see Charles Arundel break the speed record in his boat, when the Tripp sisters tell Poirot they've had a supernatural warning that Charles' life is in danger. As they watch, there's an explosion on the boat, but Charles escapes unhurt. The sisters then warn that Emily, Charles' aunt, is in danger. That night Emily apparently slips on a dog's toy and falls down the stairs. Unhurt but afraid, she takes Poirot's advice and changes her will to protect herself. When she's found dead, Poirot puts his "little grey cells" to work to solve the case.

"Hercule Poirot's Christmas"The final Poirot episode opens in a South African diamond mine at the close of the 19th century. Simeon Lee, a ruthless British prospector, kills a colleague for a cache of diamonds, but is himself seriously wounded in the fight. An Afrikaner woman nurses Simeon back to health; Simeon repays the deed by abandoning her and their infant son, presumably to return to England with his recently acquired wealth. Forty years later--and five days before Christmas--a wizened, crusty Simeon requests Poirot's presence at a seasonal family reunion. Soon after Simeon announces his plan to cut his grown sons' allowances, the irritable patriarch is found dead and his diamonds are missing. As Christmas nears, Poirot and Inspector Japp become better acquainted with each family member--including a mysterious niece, an alienated son and a glamorous daughter-in-law--in an attempt to distill the truth from their conflicting stories.

"Hickory Dickory Dock" A series of mysterious thefts brings Poirot to a London student hostel run by Mrs. Nicoletis. Leonard Bateson, a medical student, has just returned from a trip to Amsterdam. That evening, someone takes all the light bulbs out of the hostel and steals Leonard's knapsack. Celia Austin sees the thief take the knapsack to and from the boiler room, where he cuts it open and takes diamonds out of the lining. As the residents, one after the other, tell what they know about the thief--they are murdered.

Cast includes: David Suchet as Poirot, Rachel Bell as Mrs. Nicoletis, Damian Lewis as Leonard Bateson and Jessica Lloyd as Celia Austin.

"Murder On the Links" Madame Bernadette Daubreuil plans to blackmail her former lover, Paul Renauld, 10 years after they murdered Mme. Daubreuil's husband. Renauld disappears the day after he consults Poirot about being defrauded; when his body is found, suspicion points to his son. A beautiful singer complicates matters when she steals the murder weapon.

David Suchet stars as Hercule Poirot, Hugh Fraser as Captain Hastings, Philip Jackson as Inspector Japp and Pauline Moran as Miss Lemon.
